Godrej Vending

Our office is up on the 5th floor of the Chandra Kiran Building on Kasturba Road. It is a busy part of the city, and the elevators in this building can be a bit slow during the lunch rush, so we usually just take our time. We deal with vending machines, the kind you see in offices or hospitals. Most of our day is spent looking at spreadsheets or talking to the technicians who are out on the road fixing machines. It is a bit different from being in a workshop, as it is mostly desks and phones in here. We have a few demo machines in the corner that we use for testing out new products. Sometimes the coils get stuck, and we have to give the machine a little shake, just like anyone else would do. The view from the 5th floor is actually pretty decent, looking out over the constant traffic on Kasturba Road. We aren't some massive team, just a group of people keeping the coffee and snacks flowing for other businesses in the area. It is a lot of logistics, making sure the right supplies get to the right places on time. Sometimes things go wrong, a delivery is late or a machine breaks down at the worst possible time, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just try to make sure people can get their tea without any trouble.
