We started Glacier Ice Creams a while back over here on Mysore Road. It gets pretty busy around Byatayanapura and the Global Village area, so we figured people always need something cold to eat. Making ice cream is what we do every day at our place on Pattangere road. It’s not a fancy setup, just a production unit where we focus on getting the flavors right and making sure the freezers stay running. The 45/46 plot is where all the mixing and packing happens. We spend a lot of time checking the machines and moving crates around. Sometimes the traffic on the way to Rvv Post is a nightmare, but we manage to get things out. It’s mostly just a group of us working in the back, making sure the tubs are full. People around here know the building. We don’t do much advertising or anything like that. We just stay busy with the batches. It gets sticky and cold at the same time in there. We’ve been at this for a bit now. Sometimes we try new things, other times we stick to what usually works for the local shops. It is a lot of hard work keeping everything frozen when the sun is out. We just keep our heads down and work. If you are passing by Global Village Road, you might see our sign. We are just a local team doing our thing and trying to keep the machines from breaking down.
