Fresh Xpress

Fresh Xpress is located at 2-54 Dooravani Nagar, right on the Uday Nagar Main Road. We called it that because we try to get things in and out quickly, but really it's just a local shop. I get here early in the morning when it's still a bit dark to start setting things up. The Uday Nagar area starts waking up around six, and that’s when the first customers show up for their milk and daily needs. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about where we put things. It can get a bit cluttered near the counter when the morning rush happens. I’m usually the one behind the register, while another guy helps with the bags. We have been at this address for a while now. The main road is always loud with traffic, which is good for business but not so great for the ears. We don't have any fancy marketing slogans or anything like that. We just sell groceries and household items. Sometimes we run out of stuff because the truck didn't show up on time, and we just have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It’s a practical, everyday kind of job. We just try to stay busy and keep the shelves full for the people in Dooravani Nagar. It’s just how we get by, working one day at a time.
