Foxy Lady Arts & Crafts Emporium

We are based in the Shrungar Shopping Centre, at number 80 on M.G. Road. It’s one of those older shopping centers that has been around forever. Foxy Lady Arts & Crafts Emporium has a lot of history in this building. Being on M.G. Road means there’s always something happening outside. The noise from the traffic and the crowds never really stops. Inside the emporium, we have shelves piled high with all sorts of arts and crafts. We have some paintings, some handmade jewelry, and lots of little decorative pieces. It’s a bit of a maze once you walk in. We spend a lot of our time reorganizing the displays because people move things around while they’re looking. The lights inside are a bit yellow, giving everything an old-fashioned feel. We don’t have a website or a fancy computer system; we still write things down in a ledger mostly. It’s just how we’ve always done it. We get a lot of tourists who are just passing through, and also some regulars who have been coming to us for years. We like to keep a pot of coffee going in the back. It’s a small team here, just a couple of us who know where every single item is hidden. It’s a busy, cramped, and friendly place to work every day. We don't really have a big plan for the future, we just keep the doors open and see who comes in.
