Floral Crafts

We are located right over by the old bus stand in Waghodia, just across from the eye clinic. It’s a small shop, Floral Crafts, and honestly, it gets quite crowded with all the buckets of water and stems on the floor. Every morning we get the fresh flowers in and have to start trimming them before the sun gets too hot. It’s mostly just us here, working on whatever people need for their homes or for local events. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it smells nice once you step in. We spend a lot of time just cleaning up petals and making sure everything stays hydrated. It can get pretty hectic when there’s a festival or a big wedding nearby, and then it’s just non-stop cutting and tying ribbons. Sometimes we run out of a certain color and have to explain that to customers, which isn't always fun. The traffic at Char Rasta is always loud, but we like being in the middle of things. Most of our regulars are just people walking home from the bus. We don't have a big fancy catalog or anything, we just show people what we have in the coolers that day. It’s a simple way to make a living, even if our hands are always stained green or scratched from the thorns.
