At 40 Gandhi Nagar, you’ll find our shop, Ells Collections. We’ve been operating from this address for a good while now. It’s a simple building and we try to keep things organized, though it gets a bit cluttered when new stock arrives. We deal in various items, mostly things people like to collect or use daily. Gandhi Nagar is a pretty active neighborhood, so there's always people walking by the window. We aren't a big chain or a corporate store. It’s just us. The shop floor is a bit small, so we have to use every inch of shelf space we have. Sometimes we rearrange things just to make it all fit. It’s a lot of work keeping everything dusted and in order. We don’t use any fancy marketing tricks. People just come in because they saw the sign or heard about us from a neighbor. Most days are spent talking to customers or checking the inventory. We have a small desk in the back where we handle the paperwork and the bills. It’s an honest way to make a living. The street can get crowded during peak hours, but that’s just how it is here. We like being part of the local community. There’s no big philosophy behind it; we just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. That's the way it's been for years. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the shop going well enough for the regulars who visit us.
