Deepak Provision Stores

Deepak Provision Stores is situated at BVK Iyengar Road Pradhikaran 30. This is a place where we spend almost all our time. The store is filled with bags and containers of all the usual things people need for their kitchens. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, moving sacks from the truck into the back of the store at number 30. BVK Iyengar Road is always packed with cars and people, so it can get pretty loud during the day. We have some old shelves that we’ve had since we started, and they hold everything just fine. The floor gets a bit dusty because of the wind blowing in from the street, but we sweep it when we can. We aren't trying to be some big supermarket; we just have the basics that our neighbors look for. Sometimes the tally at the end of the day takes a bit longer than expected because we do things by hand mostly. It’s a simple life, really. We see the same faces every week, and we know who likes what. If you come by Pradhikaran, you’ll find us easily. The sign is a bit faded from the sun, but it’s still there. We just keep the doors open and wait for whoever needs something. It’s just us here, making sure the shelves aren't empty when someone comes in looking for their supplies. We stay busy enough to keep the lights on and the bins full of rice and lentils for the locals.
