Core College Of Fine Arts

Our place is over in Indiranagar, specifically on 7th Main in the 2nd Stage area. It’s a nice part of Bangalore, though it’s changed a lot over the years with all the new shops. We focus on fine arts here. If you walk into the building, you’ll usually see paint on the floor or some clay dust near the doors. It’s a bit messy because that’s just how art goes. We don't try to keep it looking like a corporate office. There are canvases leaned up against the walls in the hallways and people sitting around sketching. It’s a small college compared to some of the big ones in the city. We have different rooms for different kinds of work, like painting or sculpture. Sometimes you can hear music coming from one of the rooms while someone is working. It’s not always quiet. The staff here mostly just want to help people get their work done. We see students staying late to finish projects when deadlines are coming up. The neighborhood is pretty lively so there’s always somewhere to get tea or a snack nearby. We’ve been in this spot for a bit and people know us as the art school on the corner. It’s a practical space for people who actually want to make things with their hands. Nothing fancy, just a lot of creative work happening every day. It gets a bit hectic during the final shows, but that is part of the life.
