Chocolate Serenade

We are located at ITC Colony, Khadi Mahholo 34, which is a fairly quiet spot most of the time compared to the busier parts of the city. Chocolate Serenade is where we spend our days melting things down and pouring them into different shapes. The air inside is always sweet, which is nice for the first hour but you stop noticing it after a while. We have some shelves lined up with various boxes and jars that we try to keep tidy. Number 34 is an older building, so the walls are thick and it stays relatively cool inside, which is good for the inventory. We have a small sink in the back that always seems to have a few spoons soaking in it. Sometimes people wander in thinking we are a different shop, but they usually stay for a look around anyway. The floor is made of that dark stone that hides the spills well, though we still mop it every evening before locking up. We use a lot of parchment paper and string for the packaging. The light over the main counter flickers if you hit the switch too hard. It is a small operation and we handle everything ourselves, from the heavy bags of cocoa to the tiny labels we stick on the boxes. It keeps us busy enough throughout the week. We keep the doors shut to keep the dust out.
