Cauvery Super Market

We are located over in J P Nagar, 2nd Stage, right on Dr. B R Ambedkar Road. The police booth nearby is the best landmark if you’re looking for us on the 28th Main. Being a supermarket means there is always something to do, whether it’s straightening out the rows of cans or checking the dates on the milk. It’s a bigger space than the old shops, but we still try to keep it feeling like a local spot where you know the staff. The lights are bright, and the refrigerators hum all day long. We see a lot of people from the nearby apartments who come in for their weekly shopping. It gets quite busy in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. We spend a lot of time at the checkout, bagging things and chatting with the people we see every day. The staff is just a small group of us who know where every single item is hidden in the aisles. Sometimes the scanners act up, or we have to wait for a delivery truck that’s stuck in the heavy Bangalore traffic. It’s just part of the job. We don't have any grand ideas; we just want to make sure the shelves aren't empty when someone needs something for their dinner. It’s a lot of standing and moving around, but it feels good to see the store full of people and life.
