About Bhuvi Clay Arts And Fengshui – Art & Craft in Bengaluru
We have been running this shop near the Munishwara Temple in Mathikere for some years now. It’s a small place on 14th Main, located at number 621. Most days start with me opening the shutters and cleaning the clay items. We keep a lot of different things made of clay, like pots for plants and some statues. Then there’s the Fengshui stuff. People come in looking for those little frogs with coins or mirrors to put near their doors. I don’t know if all of it works, but people seem to like them for their homes. Mathikere is a busy area, especially with the temple nearby, so we get a lot of walkers passing by our door. Sometimes they just come in to look around because the clay items look nice all lined up on the shelves. It gets a bit cramped inside when we get new stock in. There are boxes everywhere until I find time to put things away properly. The weather here makes the shop a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have a small fan that helps. I usually sit near the front so I can see people coming in. It’s not a big corporate business, just me and occasionally my cousin helping out. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a pot has a small crack, I usually point it out to the customer. It’s just how we do things here. The neighborhood knows us pretty well by now.
