Atgom Arts

Our place is Atgom Arts and we are located at number 35 on 24th Main in JP Nagar. It’s the 7th Phase, right across from the Brigade Palm Spring complex. If you come inside, you’ll probably see a lot of paint and half-finished projects. It isn't the cleanest place because art is messy. We have brushes, canvases, and lots of random materials scattered around on every surface. Most days there is some music playing and someone is working on a sketch. It gets a bit crowded when we have new supplies coming in. People in the neighborhood know us as the place with all the colors. We spend time teaching or just making things for the shop. It’s a lot of work to get the details right. Sometimes a project doesn't go the way we planned and we have to start all over again. That happens a lot here. We like being in this part of Bangalore. The street outside is always active with people and cars. We’ve been at this for a bit now, just focusing on whatever looks good to us. There are stacks of paper everywhere. You have to watch where you step sometimes because of the floor projects. It’s a small team of us doing everything from cleaning the floors to finishing the final pieces. We don't do things the fast way, we just do them how they need to be done.
