Arun Icecreams Parlour

Our little spot is called Arun Icecreams Parlour and you can find us at V N Road in Kacharakanahalli. It is a simple shop with a few freezers and a counter. We opened up here because we noticed there weren't many places to get a cold treat in this part of Kacharakanahalli. The shop isn't very large, so most people just grab what they want and stand outside on V N Road. We spend our days making sure the freezers stay at the right temperature. If the power goes out, we have to move fast. It’s just one of those things you deal with when you run a shop like this. We get all kinds of people coming in, from kids after school to older folks taking a walk in the evening. We don't have fancy seating or music playing. It’s just a place to get ice cream. We try to keep the glass clean, but there are always fingerprints from people looking at the flavors. That is fine with us. We know most of the neighbors by now. V N Road gets pretty busy during the day, so there is always something to look at through the window. We do the cleaning and the stocking ourselves every night after we close. It's a quiet life but we like it. There’s no big story, just us running a parlor in Kacharakanahalli.
