Art Works

Frazer Town is a great neighborhood and being on Mosque Road at number 6 is perfect for Art Works. It’s a lively area with a lot of food spots and people walking around at all hours. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack it with whatever we’re working on at the moment. You can usually find some of us in the back area where we keep the supplies. It’s a bit messy, to be honest, with scraps of paper and tools lying around, but that’s how we work best. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know their way around the materials. People from the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to say hello or see what’s new. We don’t do any big advertising; people just seem to find us. The windows out front let in some good light during the day, which helps when we’re looking at colors. It’s a simple setup. We have a small table where we sit and have tea in the afternoon. The sounds from the mosque nearby are a constant part of our day. It’s a nice place to spend time and do what we do. We’ve stayed here because it feels right for the kind of work we enjoy. Nothing too polished, just a real workshop in a real part of town. We usually have some music playing and the front door stays open most of the time.
