Art Talaash

Our shop, Art Talaash, is at 620/ D, right near the Variyar Bakery in Rajajinagar. Being so close to the bakery is both good and bad because it always smells like fresh bread and biscuits, which makes us hungry all day long. We have been in this part of Rajajinagar for a good while. The shop is not very large, so we have to use every bit of wall space to hang up brushes and canvases. People walking by often stop because they see the colors through the door. It is a busy street with people constantly heading to the bakery or the other shops nearby. We do not have a fancy sign or anything, just the address and our name. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance, and we have to ask them to move so customers can get in. It is just part of life on this road. We spend a lot of our time sorting through stock and talking to people about their painting projects. Some of the folks who come in have been buying from us since we first opened. We do not try to be anything we are not. It is just a place for art stuff where the floor might be a bit dusty and the chairs are old. We like it this way because it feels real. If you are looking for us, just follow the smell of the bakery and you will find our door.
