The Art House is tucked away in Nagarabhavi 277, and honestly, it’s a bit of a mess most of the time. There are always brushes soaking in jars and stacks of paper leaning against the walls. We don't really bother with keeping it perfectly tidy because there’s always something being worked on. The floor has these old paint stains that won’t come out no matter how much we scrub them, but I think it gives the place a bit of character. Being at 277 means we get a lot of local folks walking by and occasionally peaking through the door to see what’s going on. The windows are large but they get dusty pretty fast with all the construction happening nearby in Nagarabhavi. I usually spend my afternoons reorganizing the shelves or trying to find where I put the charcoal sticks. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just us and the materials we use. We’ve got an old radio that mostly plays static, but we leave it on for the background noise. Sometimes the neighborhood kids stop by and ask questions, which is always a bit of a distraction but a nice one. It’s not a gallery or anything high-end, just a working space where things get made and the light is usually pretty good for a few hours.
