Anand Milk Dairy

Anand Milk Dairy is located at 240/A on Jm Road in the Tyagarajanagar area. This part of town is a very lively place to be, and being on this road means we see a lot of people passing through every day. We deal mostly in milk packets and basic dairy products like curd and buttermilk. The shop itself is quite small, but it does the job just fine. Every single morning, the plastic crates arrive and we have to get everything into the coolers before the sun gets too high and the heat starts to pick up. It’s a lot of lifting and moving crates around. We don't have any fancy signs or neon lights to attract people. It’s just a plain, functional shop where you get what you need and go. Most of our customers have been coming to this same spot for many years. We know their families and we usually know exactly what they are going to buy before they even ask. It’s a very local way of doing business that you don't see as much anymore. Sometimes the fridge acts up or a delivery truck is running short, and we just have to deal with those problems as they come. We aren't a big chain, just a standalone dairy shop. The work is steady and it definitely keeps us on our feet. We like Tyagarajanagar; it feels like a real community here. Jm Road is always a bit dusty, but we try.
