We have our sofa shop, Altron Sofa Boutique Pvt Ltd, over in Sector 1 of HSR Layout. We are pretty close to the HDFC Bank so people usually use that as a landmark to find us. Dealing with sofas means we need a lot of floor space and the shop is usually filled with different sets. It is a bit of a workout moving these heavy pieces around when we want to change the layout of the room. We spend our time showing people the different fabrics and how the frames are built. Most of the day is spent talking about cushions and sizes because everyone has a different living room. HSR is a nice area but it can get quite congested with cars parked everywhere on the 21st Main. We have been at this location for a while now. Sometimes we are in the back working on orders and other times we are out front helping someone who just walked in from Agara or nearby. It is a practical business. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles in the shop. We just have the furniture sitting there so people can actually sit on it and see if it is comfortable for them. It gets bright during the day and we keep the doors open to let some air in. It is just us and a lot of sofas waiting to be moved.
