Ali Provision Store

Being on Yeshwantpur Main Road 852 means there is always noise outside. The traffic never really stops and you get used to the sound of horns all day long. Ali Provision Store is right in the middle of all that chaos. We spend the mornings taking deliveries from the trucks that manage to find a place to park outside. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and carrying bags. The floor is a bit worn down from people walking in and out for so many years. We have those old wooden counters that have seen better days. Some people come in for just one thing, like a packet of biscuits, while others fill up whole bags. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it gets messy when we are busy and things get put back in the wrong spot. It’s just how it goes here. The back room is full of sacks and crates. If the weather is hot, the fan just moves the warm air around, but nobody complains much. It’s a neighborhood spot. We see the same faces every morning, mostly people living in the back streets who don't want to go to the big supermarkets. We stay open late because people coming home from work need things last minute. It’s a basic shop, nothing special to look at from the outside. But it works for us and it works for the people around here. 852 Yeshwantpur Main Road is a busy place, but inside it’s just us doing what we’ve always done.
