Adinarayan Stores

Adinarayan Stores is a small spot right on Rajajinagar Main Road at 892/A. It’s a very busy area, so there is always the sound of horns and buses passing by outside our door. We’ve been here for a lot of years and have seen the neighborhood change so much. The shop is usually packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of daily items people need. It’s not a fancy supermarket where everything is spaced out. Here, you have to ask us where things are sometimes because we tuck things into every corner. We open up early and usually stay late to catch the people coming home from work. The floor is a bit worn down from all the feet walking in and out, but that’s just how it is. We don't have a website or any social media pages. People just know we are here. Sometimes the stock doesn't arrive on time and we have to tell the regulars to come back tomorrow. We handle the cash and the billing ourselves, often just using a simple ledger or a basic calculator. It’s a bit dusty because of all the traffic on the main road, but we try to sweep it out every morning. We chat with the neighbors and know most of the people who live in the nearby blocks. It’s a simple life running a store, and it keeps us busy enough that we don’t have much time for anything else.
