A To Z Fruit Corner

We've been at 24/1 in Shivaji Nagar for a while now. It's just a small spot called A To Z Fruit Corner where we keep different kinds of fruits for the people living around here. Most days are busy with getting the crates in and making sure things are sorted right. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular corner shop. We spend a lot of time checking what's ripe and what needs a day or two. People come by on their way home from work to pick up apples or bananas. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get certain things, but we try to have a bit of everything on the shelves. It is just me and a couple of others helping out. We know most of the neighbors by face now since they've been coming here for years. Shivaji Nagar can get crowded, especially in the evenings, but our spot stays pretty steady. We don't do much advertising or anything like that. Just keeping the fruit fresh is enough work for us. If you walk past 24/1, you'll see the stacks of crates outside. We try to keep things simple and honest. No big speeches or fancy displays, just fruit. It’s a lot of lifting and carrying every morning. That’s pretty much how it goes here every day of the week. Our shop is just a part of the daily life for the folks who live in this neighborhood.
