A R Arts & Bonsai

A R Arts & Bonsai is tucked away at 214 Sadananda Nagar, right near the water tank. If you live around here, you probably know the tank, it makes finding us a lot easier. We spend most of our days surrounded by small trees and various art pieces we’ve collected or worked on. The shop has a very earthy smell, mostly from the soil and the moss we use for the bonsai. It is a lot of work to keep everything healthy, especially when the weather gets really dry. Sometimes the place looks a bit messy with half-finished pots and pruning shears lying around, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with plants. Sadananda Nagar is a nice, calm area. We see the same people walking by every day. We aren’t trying to be some huge commercial nursery with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small operation at number 214. People often stop in just to have a look or ask for some advice on their own plants. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us. If you see the gate open, you can just walk in. Gardening is a slow process, and we’ve learned to be patient over the years. It is nice to work with your hands and see something grow slowly over time. Some days are just about watering and sweeping up, and that’s fine by us.
