Krishijivi Haldhar Annadata Producer Company Limited is based at Ram Singar Singh’s place in the village of Ranipur. This is near Bindra Bazar in the Azamgarh district. The name is a bit long, but it reflects what we do—we are people who live by the plow and provide food. We are a group of local farmers who decided to join together to make things a bit easier for everyone in our community. Our office is just a regular house in the village. You won’t find any shiny signs or corporate logos here. We spend our days out in the fields or meeting at the house to discuss the price of fertilizers and where to sell our grain. Azamgarh is a place where farming is everything, and we are right in the middle of it. We don't have a professional writer to make us sound fancy. We are just honest people who work with the soil every single day. Some seasons are better than others, and we help each other through the bad ones. We are usually busy with the crops, but there is always time for a quick talk about the farm. It is a simple life but we are proud of the work we do for the village.
