We are based out of Begpur Khalsa in the Nizamabad area of Azamgarh. It is just a small setup here at Arti Maurya’s place. Most days we are busy figuring out how to manage things for the farmers around here. Being a producer company in Uttar Pradesh means dealing with a lot of paperwork and also the daily realities of the land. We started this because there was a need to organize how we handle our crops and sales in this part of Azamgarh. It is not always easy or smooth, but we keep at it. Sometimes the weather is against us and sometimes the market prices are just frustrating. People here know each other well. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It is just us working from this address in the village. We handle a lot of the logistical stuff that individual farmers find hard to do on their own. Usually, it is just about making sure everyone gets a fair shake. We’ve been at this for a while now and the learning never really stops. Every season brings some new kind of trouble or a different way to do things better than before. We try to stay grounded and focus on what is happening right in front of us in Nizamabad.
