Azamgarh Kisan Vegetable Producer Company Limited

We started this group back in Gram Jauma. Most of us live right here near Post Mejwanphoolpur. House No.166 is where we keep the paperwork and meet up when we aren't out in the fields. It’s mostly about the vegetables we grow around Azamgarh. People need food, and we have the land, so we figured working as Azamgarh Kisan Vegetable Producer Company Limited made sense. It’s hard work, especially when the weather doesn't behave, but that’s just how farming goes. We spend a lot of time talking about seeds and what to plant next season. Sometimes the roads are bad, which makes getting things moved a bit of a headache. We aren't a big fancy office. It’s just us farmers trying to get a fair price for what we pull out of the dirt. Most days you’ll find someone at the house or nearby. We’ve been here a long time, so everyone knows the spot. We don't have a big team of managers or anything like that. Just some neighbors who decided to pull together and see if we could make the business side of things a little easier on ourselves. It's nothing too complicated, just growing veg and trying to keep things running. It gets busy during harvest time, and that's when you'll see most of us running around. We try to keep things simple and honest because that's the only way we know how to work. It’s a local effort through and through.
