Tuli Manmeet Singh Architect

Our office is at 2068 in the C-Block of Ranjeet Avenue. If you know the area, you know it’s one of those spots that’s always active. We’ve been operating out of this building for a good while now. It’s a solid, older structure that serves us well. Inside, it looks like a typical architect's workspace. There are rolls of tracing paper everywhere and rulers lying on every flat surface. We don't try to keep it looking like a magazine photo. It’s a working office, so it gets messy. We have our drawing boards and a few computers that are constantly running. Ranjeet Avenue is a good place to be because everything is close by. We can step out for a coffee or to meet someone without having to drive across town. The atmosphere in the office is pretty relaxed. We don't wear suits or follow strict corporate rules. We just show up and do the work. Some days are longer than others, especially when we are trying to finish up a design. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively. It’s just a group of people who enjoy what they do. We don't have any grand statements to make. We just like building things and seeing how they turn out in the real world. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in a city we like.
