Sharma Amit Architect

We've been at A-87, Ranjit Avenue for a while now, right across from the district court on Ajnala Road. It's a busy spot, but we like it here. Sharma Amit Architect started this because he enjoys drawing up house plans and seeing them actually get built. We aren't a giant firm with fancy suits. Most days it's just us looking at blueprints and talking to clients about where a window should go or how to make a kitchen work better. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks and the office gets a bit messy with paper, but that's just how it goes when you're busy. We handle a lot of local stuff around Ranjit Avenue. People drop by with sketches on napkins sometimes. We don't mind. It's about getting the walls in the right place and making sure the roof stays up. The court being right there means traffic can be a pain in the afternoon, but we manage. We spend a lot of time on site too, wearing boots and checking on things. It isn't always glamorous work. There's a lot of paperwork and measuring twice. We try to keep things straightforward and don't use big words just to sound smart.
