Excelsior Academy

We are located at Plot Number 30 on Batala Road, Lane Number 2, in the Vijay Nagar area of Amritsar. It is a bit of a busy spot because the police station is nearby, and so are the Asian Chicken Corner and Manjot Gas Agency. You can always tell when it is lunchtime because the smell of food from the local shops starts drifting into the rooms. Our academy is a local place where we focus on teaching. It is not a large building, just a few rooms that we have converted into classrooms. The furniture is simple, and we have bookshelves overflowing with study material that we have collected over the years. We have been in this part of Amritsar for a while, and we like the bustle of Batala Road. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially with the rickshaws and delivery trucks, but we just raise our voices a bit and keep going with the lesson. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basic things that you need to learn. The people who work here are mostly locals who know the neighborhood very well. We often stand out by the gate for a few minutes between classes to say hello to the neighbors. It is a very grounded atmosphere here. We don’t promise anything impossible; we just provide a place for students to sit down and put in the work.
