Sai Aryaan Educational Institute

Our institute is located at House No:375 in Friend Colony, which is just off Majitha Road near Krishna Square in Amritsar. It is actually a residential house that we have converted into a place for classes, so it has a very different feel than a big commercial building. People in the neighborhood know us as the place where students go in the afternoons and evenings. We have turned the rooms into small classrooms with chairs and some whiteboards. It’s a bit tight when a lot of students show up at once, but we make it work. The front porch is usually full of cycles and a few scooters parked haphazardly. Inside, the walls are decorated with some old charts and maps that we’ve had for years. It is a quiet street for the most part, which is good for studying, though you can hear the neighbor's dogs barking or the sound of the vegetable sellers going by. The staff is just a few of us who handle everything from teaching to cleaning up the rooms at the end of the day. We don't have a big office or a receptionist, so if someone comes to the door, one of us just steps out to talk to them. It is a simple setup for helping local kids with their studies. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work that needs doing.
