Sarang Dhar School

If you walk down Paris Townstreet, Number 3, you’ll find us easily enough. Sarang Dhar School has its home right here in this part of Paris Town in Amritsar. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, except for when the children arrive in the morning and leave in the afternoon. We have been part of the local neighborhood for some time, and we mostly just get on with the job of running a school. There is always something needing to be fixed or a classroom that needs a bit of paint, but we manage. The teachers here are just regular people who want to see the kids learn something useful. We don't go in for big speeches or anything like that. We just open the doors, start the lessons, and make sure everyone is safe. The 143001 area is where most of our families live, so we feel like a real local spot. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and we have to adjust, or the rain makes the street a bit messy, but that is just life in Amritsar. We try to keep the atmosphere calm so the kids can actually focus on their books. It’s not a grand place, just a regular school where we do our bit every day. We’ve seen many classes come and go through these doors on Number 3 over the years and it keeps us busy.
