Veer Restaurant

We’ve been running Veer Restaurant at 11/C Elgin Road for quite some time. It’s in the Civil Lines area of Allahabad, right near Heart Line. Civil Lines is a nice part of town, and we like being here. The building isn't new, but we keep it in decent shape. We have a few tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We aren't a high-end place with waiters in suits. It’s just us in our regular clothes serving food. We get a mix of office workers during the day and some students in the evening. The menu doesn't change much. We stick to what we know people like to eat. Sometimes we run out of chairs on Sunday afternoons, so people have to wait a bit. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name over the door. The kitchen is right at the back. You can hear the pans clanking and the stove hissing if you sit near the back wall. We buy our supplies from the local market every couple of days. We don't use much frozen stuff. It's just simple cooking. Allahabad has a lot of history, and we're just a tiny part of the current scene here. We don't have big plans to expand or anything. We're just happy to keep the doors open and serve the people who walk in from Elgin Road.
