Bebo Kitchens

We started Bebo Kitchens here in Allahabad because we just liked cooking for people. It’s not a big corporate operation with fancy offices or anything. It’s just a kitchen where we spend most of our day. The 211001 area is where we do all our work. Most mornings start with us checking the pantry and seeing what needs to be picked up from the local market. It’s a lot of manual work, chopping vegetables and making sure the stoves are running right. The heat in the kitchen gets pretty intense during the summer months, but we’re used to it by now. We don’t have a big dining room for people to sit in; it’s more about getting the food out to where it needs to go. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when several orders come in at once, and you might hear us shouting a bit to stay organized. That’s just how a kitchen works. We keep our recipes simple, the kind of things we’d eat at home ourselves. No fancy plating or strange ingredients you can’t pronounce. We’ve had some of the same helpers since we opened. We all just show up, do the work, and go home. It’s a simple life, really. Allahabad is a good place for a business like ours because people here appreciate a decent meal without all the extra fuss and noise.
