You’ll find us inside Hotel Samrat. The address is 49-A, Mahatma Gandhi Marg, right in the Civil Lines area of Allahabad. This part of town is pretty historic, and we’ve been part of the hotel setup for quite some time. The pin code here is 211001. We aren't a standalone place, so you have to come into the hotel to find Connoisseur Restaurant. It’s a bit of an old-school vibe in here. We serve the people staying at Samrat but also a lot of locals who walk in from Civil Lines. Mahatma Gandhi Marg is always busy, but once you step inside, it gets a little quieter. We have a set menu that hasn't changed much over the years because people seem to like it that way. The staff has been here for years, so we know how things work. It’s a straightforward dining room. We don't go for any of that modern minimalist stuff. It’s just tables, chairs, and good food. We open up for breakfast and stay going through dinner. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when we have a big group, but we try to keep up. It’s just a regular restaurant in a regular hotel. If you’re around Civil Lines, you can drop by. We’re right there on the main road, just look for the Samrat sign. It’s been sitting there for years and most auto drivers know it well. It is a simple place for a meal.
