The Restautant

Our spot is right at Patrika crossing on the road in Civil Lines. If you are in Allahabad, you probably know this crossing well. It is a busy spot where a lot of roads meet. We have been here for a while now, watching the city change around us. The building is simple, and we haven't done much to change the look of it over the years. We think it feels more like home that way. Most of our customers are locals who live nearby or work in the offices around Civil Lines. They stop in for a quick meal or to sit for a bit while they wait for the traffic to thin out. The fans hum on the ceiling and there is always the sound of horns from the crossing outside. We don't have a big corporate team or anything. It's just a few of us working together to keep the tables clean and the food ready. Sometimes the service is a little slow when we get a big rush, but we do what we can. We use local ingredients we get from the market nearby. It’s not a fancy place with white tablecloths. It’s just The Restautant, a place where you can get a meal and go about your day. We like the regular rhythm of the morning and evening crowds. It’s just how things are done here in this part of town.
