santulit Restaurant

We are located inside Hotel Rajpoot in the Kotha Parcha area of Allahabad. This is an older building, and 5/6 is the spot where we work. Being part of the hotel means we see a lot of travelers coming through. Some stay for a few days, others just pass by for a meal. Kotha Parcha is a busy part of town, so there is always something happening outside on the street. We try to keep things simple here. The tables are basic and the lights are bright enough to see what you are eating. We don’t spend much time on decorations or fancy menus. It is more about getting a hot plate of food to whoever sits down. We start our prep work in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. By lunchtime, the place gets pretty active with people coming in from the nearby shops. We have been doing this for a while now. The staff knows most of the regulars by face even if we don’t know every name. Our setup is very straightforward. We don’t have a big website or anything like that. People usually find us because they are staying at the hotel or they live nearby. It is just a regular place to eat without any fuss. We make sure the dishes are washed and the tables are wiped down for the next person. That is pretty much our day from start to finish every single day.
