Udashya Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group, Udashya Farmers Producer Company Limited, is located over at Naya Line in the Beech Tea Garden area of Hasimara. We operate out of Rinjhi Thapa’s place. If you know the Hasimara area, you know it's a lot of greenery and tea estates. It’s a beautiful part of the world, but the work is hard. We started this company because we wanted to bring the local farmers together. It’s not always easy to get things sorted when you’re working on your own, so we figured a producer company was the way to go. We spend our days dealing with the practical side of farming. There’s always someone stopping by the house to talk about the crops or the weather. We don't have a big corporate office with a receptionist. It’s just a room where we keep our records and talk shop. Being in the Beech T.G. means we're right in the middle of where the action is. We see the struggles and the successes of the people living in Naya Line every day. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make the work a bit more organized for everyone involved. It’s a local effort, run by people who actually live here. We know the roads, we know the soil, and we know our neighbors. That’s pretty much all there is to it. We keep things moving and try to stay helpful. It's a simple life but it's ours, and we're proud of it.
