Our college for girls is located in Elampur, specifically in the Alapur Garhia area of Khair Mandi. It is a part of Aligarh with the pin code 202002. Being an inter college, we see a lot of young women coming in from the nearby villages and towns. Sri Babu Singh Kanya Inter College Alapur Gariya Aigarh isn't a place with big flashy signs. It’s more of a traditional educational setting where the focus is on the classroom. The building is functional and has a lot of history tied to Alapur Gariya. We spend our mornings coordinating classes and making sure the registers are updated. The walk to the college through Elampur is quite familiar to everyone around here. It can get a bit loud when the students arrive, but it’s a good kind of noise. We have basic facilities that serve our purpose. There are trees on the grounds that provide some shade during the hot Aligarh summers. The staff room is usually a mess of papers and tea cups. We don’t try to act like a fancy city school. We are just a local college helping the girls here get their education. It’s a simple life, focused on the syllabus and the yearly exams. People in Khair Mandi know us well, and we’ve been part of the community for a long time. There is always something to do around here.
