Shri Gopalji Degree College

Our college is out in Village Himmatpur near Etah in Uttar Pradesh. It is a rural area so things move a bit slower out here compared to the big cities. The college itself is a large plain building surrounded by some open land and fields. Students come here from all the nearby villages to study for their degrees because there aren't many other options close by. We have basic classrooms with benches that have seen better days and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. It’s a very down-to-earth place where students focus on their books and their futures. We don't have many fancy facilities or a big library but we have enough for everyone to get their work done. The staff is mostly local and we understand the challenges the students face living in a village. Sometimes the electricity goes out during a lecture or the road gets muddy when it rains but we just keep going. It’s a practical place for people who want to learn and improve their lives without having to move far away. My daily routine involves checking the schedules and making sure the building is open and ready for the students who travel quite a way to get here. It’s just a simple college doing what it can for the community in Himmatpur and the surrounding rural areas.
