Shri Bhanu Dass Ji Minerals

Down on the Bye Pass Road at Plot No. 37 in Friends Colony, you’ll find our office. Shri Bhanu Dass Ji Minerals has been here for a bit now. Being near the bypass is actually really handy for the trucks because they don't have to navigate through the smaller city streets. The office is a basic concrete building. We have a small yard where some stuff is kept, and the interior is just what you’d expect from a mineral business—nothing too flashy. It gets quite dusty because of the road and the materials we handle, so we’re always dusting off the desks. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea about five times a day. Most of the people working here have been with us for years, so we’re more like a small family than a corporate staff. We don’t really have a big sign outside, so people sometimes miss us if they aren't looking closely. Our days are filled with weighing loads, checking manifests, and talking to drivers. It’s steady work. Sometimes the summer heat makes it hard to stay motivated, but we manage. We aren’t interested in being the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work properly and go home at the end of the day. That’s how we’ve always run things here in Friends Colony, and it seems to work out just fine.
