Mahavir Minerals Limited

Mahavir Minerals Limited is out in Beawar, Rajasthan. Our office is in the Housing Board colony in Saket Nagar, house number 3/256. Beawar is a pretty dry and dusty place, especially during the summer months when the wind blows hard. We’ve got a small office here that feels like a house because it’s in a residential block. The rooms are small and we’ve converted the front area into a workspace for the three of us who sit here. Most of the talk is about mineral grades and transport trucks. We have a lot of samples of crushed stones and minerals sitting in plastic jars on the windowsills. The furniture is quite old, mostly heavy wood that’s seen better days. We get our mail delivered to the front porch. Since it’s a government housing area, it’s relatively quiet compared to the main market, but you still hear the local vendors passing by. We don't have a big sign, just a small plate near the door. The computers are old and the printers often jam when we’re trying to print out invoices. We spend a lot of time on the landline talking to the supervisors at the sites. It’s a slow-paced environment in some ways, but there’s always something to keep us busy. We just keep the files organized as best we can and wait for the sun to go down so it cools off. It’s just how things go.
