Anant Minerals is based in Kishangarh, right over in Agrasen Nagar, Ajmer Madanganj at A-15. This part of town is always buzzing with activity because of the stone trade. Our office is a straightforward place, nothing too fancy, just enough room for the desks and the files we need to keep track of everything. We spend our days dealing with different minerals. Some days are packed with truck arrivals and others are spent just catching up on the paperwork. We have a few guys working with us who have been around for a long time, so they know the drill. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean; the dust from the minerals tends to find its way into every corner. We don't have a big corporate structure or a mission statement pinned to the wall. We just show up, talk to the suppliers, and make sure the materials get to the customers on time. The heat in Ajmer can be pretty intense in the summer, so we drink a lot of tea and try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. People know us around here because we’ve stayed in the same spot and just kept at it. It’s a practical business, run by regular people who know their way around the local mineral market. We just focus on doing a decent job every day and keeping the ledger books balanced as best as we can without any fuss.
