R. K. Minechem

We’ve been based out of plot H-1-152 in the Silora industrial area for some time now. It is a bit of a dusty place because of all the movement in the RIICO zone, but it suits what we do at R. K. Minechem. We spend most of our mornings handling various mineral batches and checking on the chemical loads that come in. It isn’t the fanciest spot in the world, just a standard industrial block among many others, but it works for our daily routine. Sometimes the power flickers when the neighbors are running their heavy gear, though we have mostly gotten used to that over the years. We usually take a tea break around eleven when the heat starts picking up. You can hear the trucks shifting gears outside the gate all day long. Most of the people working here have been around Silora for a while, so we know the local transporters by their first names. It is mostly just a matter of making sure the sacks are filled right and the paperwork is not too messy. We keep a few fans going in the small office area to move the air around, but the warehouse stays pretty warm. It is just how it is when you are working with minerals in this part of the state. We do not have a big fancy reception, just a desk and some chairs where we talk to the drivers. Dealing with these materials keeps us busy enough.
