Keshav Minerals

Keshav Minerals is located out at Plot No. 5 in Village Udaipur Kalan, which is part of the Madanganj-Kishangarh area. This part of Rajasthan is known for its rocks and minerals, so we fit right in with the landscape. The air around here is almost always a bit white from the dust of the grinding and the sorting, and you can see it on the clothes of everyone who works here. We don't have fancy signs or a polished lobby. It is just a yard and a building where the work gets done. Most of the guys who work here come from the nearby villages and we have known each other for years. The sun gets really bright out here on the plot, making the mineral piles shine, which can be hard on the eyes if you aren't wearing a hat. We spend our days managing the loads coming in and going out on the big trucks that navigate the narrow village roads. It is a slow process sometimes, especially when the weather is bad or the power goes out, which happens more than we would like. We eat our lunch together in the shade of the main shed and talk about local things or how the season is going. It is not an easy job because everything is heavy and the dust gets everywhere, but it is what we do. We just keep our heads down and handle the minerals as they come through.
