Rehoboth Mission English Medium School

You’ll find Rehoboth Mission English Medium School at 73A/29 Kachhawa Cottage in the Gulab Bari area of Ajmer. It’s a specific spot, tucked away in the neighborhood. The school operates out of Kachhawa Cottage, so it has a very different feel than a purpose-built modern school. It feels more like a home that’s been turned into a place of learning. Gulab Bari is a busy part of town, but our little corner is somewhat settled. We’ve been here for a while, and the building has its quirks, like uneven floors or narrow doorways. We don't try to hide that. It’s part of who we are. The rooms are filled with the sound of kids reciting lessons. We don’t have a big playground, so we make do with what we have. Most of our students come from the surrounding houses, so everyone knows each other. It’s a very local atmosphere. We spend our days teaching and then cleaning up, getting ready for the next morning. There’s no big mission statement on the wall, just the daily routine of school life. We like being in Gulab Bari. It’s got a life of its own. Being in a cottage makes the school feel smaller and more personal than the big institutions in the city. The yard has a few plants, and the front gate is usually where you'll find someone watching the street when things are quiet.
