Hukumchand Public School

Living out in Village Danta means a different kind of pace than the city. We are located right by Veer Circle on the Naseerabad Road. It’s a good spot because the local buses can stop right there without much trouble. The school building has been standing here for a good while now. We serve the families around Danta and the nearby Ajmer areas. It’s mostly farming families who send their children to us. The kids are very used to being outdoors and don't mind the weather much. We have a nice view of the open green fields from the upper windows of the school. Sometimes a cow or two wanders near the front gate during the middle of the day. We have a small staff of teachers who really care about the village kids. We teach in both English and Hindi depending on the subject. The classrooms are very basic with just some fans and old blackboards. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy stuff like that. When it rains hard, the sound on the metal roof is so loud we have to stop the lesson for a minute. The students are generally well-behaved, though they always get a bit restless on Friday afternoons when the sun is out. We try our best to keep the place tidy but with kids running around, there’s always a little bit of chaos. It’s a humble school and we are happy here in Danta.
