Aryan Public School is located right next to the Jaju ITI in Lohagal. It’s a part of Ajmer that feels a bit more open. No glossy reception desks or people in suits are found here. We’re usually in our classrooms or out in the yard. The building is simple and does what it’s supposed to do. We started this school because we wanted a place in Lohagal that was easy for local kids to get to without having to travel into the city center. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. Standard subjects are taught and we try to make sure the kids actually get it. Marketing budgets aren't really a thing for us, so there aren't big signs everywhere. People know where we are because we've been here long enough. The staff is local, and we all know the area well. Sometimes the wind kicks up a lot of dust from the road, but we just shut the doors and keep working. It’s not a perfect place, but it’s a real one. Flowery language isn't used to talk about our work. We just show up, teach the lessons, and help the kids out. It’s a practical school for the families around here in Ajmer. Gates stay locked during the day for safety and open up when the parents arrive. It's a routine followed for years now. We just keep the focus on the students and their books.
