Sophia Hindi Senior Secondary School

Sophia Hindi Senior Secondary School is located at No. 9 Petrol Pump Road in the Mirshali area of Ajmer. Most people just call it Petrol Pump Road because, well, that’s where the petrol pump is. It’s a busy part of Ajmer with plenty of noise and activity. The school building is an older structure that has seen a lot of students come and go. We have the senior secondary classes here, so the students are a bit older and more serious about their studies. The classrooms are basic, with old-fashioned desks and big windows to let in the air. In the summer, it gets quite hot, so we rely on the ceiling fans. The playground isn't very big, but it serves its purpose for the physical education classes. Our office is a small room near the main gate where we keep all the registers and files. It’s usually a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we try to keep it tidy. The teachers have been here for a long time and they know the families in Mirshali well. We don't go in for big advertisements or fancy slogans. The school just exists to give local kids a place to finish their schooling in Hindi medium. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense environment. Students come, they attend their classes, and they head home. It’s been a part of this neighborhood for years.
