Our small office is at 16, Sheetal, in the Vikas Colony area on Delwara Road. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood, which is nice for a change. We deal with minerals and raw materials from the earth. Most of our day involves checking the quality of the batches and talking to the people at the mines. We have jars of different mineral samples on the shelves, which sometimes spill and leave a bit of grit on the desks. It’s not a fancy corporate environment at all. We wear casual clothes because the work can get a bit dirty when we are out inspecting the loads. We’ve been here for a good while and the people in the colony know us well. We don't have a big sales pitch or any promotional materials. We just know our minerals and we make sure the orders are handled right. Some afternoons the sun hits the office directly and it gets quite warm, so we usually open the windows to catch a breeze. It’s a very simple operation. We track the shipments, talk to the transport guys, and make sure the paperwork is in order. It’s a steady, quiet life on Delwara Road, and we’re happy to just keep things going as they are.
