Dav Centenary Public School

Dav Centenary Public School is located near the Purani Chungi Chowki on Nasirabad Road. We are right in the Adarsh Nagar area. The school has a fairly large campus compared to some of the others nearby. We have been here for a long time, and many generations of families have walked through our gates. The building is quite solid, made of brick and concrete, and it has that old-school feel to it. We have a big courtyard in the middle where we hold the morning assembly. It gets quite hot in the sun, so we try to keep it brief. Our classrooms have high ceilings which helps keep the air moving. We focus a lot on the basics like math, science, and languages. The teachers are strict but they care about the students' progress. You will see a lot of bicycles parked out front because many of our students ride here from the surrounding neighborhoods. The road outside, Nasirabad Road, can get quite congested, so we have to be careful when the kids are leaving in the afternoon. We don't have any high-tech labs or fancy sports fields, just the essentials for a good education. It is a busy place, always something going on, but we manage to keep things running smoothly. We just aim to provide a steady place for learning for all the kids who come through our doors.
