Zv Engineers

Our workshop is located at Plot No. 119 in the Banner Industrial Estate, which is a busy area off Rakhial Road. If you know where Soma Textile is, we are just near there in the same estate. It is an engineering space, so it is mostly filled with the smell of grease and the sound of metal hitting metal. The floors are concrete and usually have a few stains on them from the machines. We spend most of our hours looking at drawings and handling different parts. It gets quite hot in the afternoon under the industrial roof, but we just keep the fans going and get through the work. The estate is always full of trucks and people moving crates around, so there is never really a quiet moment until late evening. We have our tools organized on the benches, though things tend to get messy when we are in the middle of a big job. It is practical work, and we do not spend much time worrying about how the front office looks as long as the engineering side is moving. Being in Rakhial means we are surrounded by other businesses doing similar things, so there is always a lot of clatter in the air. We usually take our breaks when the noise levels drop a bit. It is just a regular engineering shop doing what needs to be done every day in this part of Ahmedabad.
